Swim in the deep clear waters of Llyn Padarn and run beneath the majestic summit of Mt Snowdon. Running in your wetsuit and swimming in your trainers, you’ll take a seamless journey through the spectacular landscape of Snowdonia. Each section of the 16km SwimRun course (there are 4 runs and 4 swims) offers beautiful views, varied terrain & you’ll pass by a few historic relics too! Enter as a team of two or go it alone as a solo!

‘All aboard the swim train!’ Catch the narrow gauge steam train to the end of Llyn Padarn to start your swim for a truly unique experience! From start to finish you’ll be wowed by the spectacular mountain scenery, beautiful woodlands and historic monuments. You can swim the length of the lake, either once (3km), twice (6km) or three times (9km) and we have a junior option too (1.3km). Wetsuit and non-wetsuit places are available.

The 18km route takes in the rugged & beautiful coastline of Holy Island, beautiful cliff top runs with views of the mountains of Snowdonia, hidden beaches, rocky swims and a tough final climb up to the finish line. With 6 run sections and 5 swims, each leg offers something new with a surprise around every corner! With only 100 spaces for this unique event, enter as a team or go it alone as a solo, just sign up while you can!

Holy Island, Anglesey

The Holy Trail, a 15km trail run, will take place on Holy Island, famous for it’s religious landmarks! The linear 15km  course is 70% off road & the route will take in some of Angleseys’s most stunning scenery, including Southstack Lighthouse. You’ll race along high cliff edges & around secluded sandy bays with spectacular views of the mountains of snowdonia! The first runner to reach the finish line will claim The Holy Trail Grail!

Hello and welcome to Love SwimRun

Love SwimRun launched in 2016 with our inaugral event Love SwimRun Llanberis, the first swimrun event in Wales! SwimRun is Britain’s newest and fastest growing endurance sport and you can expect to see lots more events taking off in the UK.  Love SwimRun Llanberis 2017 wasa great success this year with a new and improved course and we’ll be repeating this again in 2018! We are excited to announce a new SwimRun event Love SwimRun Holy Island – a spectacular linear course on the Anglesey coast! You’ll need to sign up fast for these fun SwimRuns as we only have limited spaces!

Also new for 2017 we are launching The Big Welsh Swim! A multi distance open water swim – choose to swim the length of the lake, either once, twice or three times! We have a mid length option too, plus spaces for juniors and a non-wetsuit option! Go on, dive in! We also have a new running event The Holy Trail, a heavenly 15km coastal trail run on Anglesey. Start at South Stack lighthouse and race back to Rhoscolyn to claim The Holy Trail grail!
