Love SwimRun Llanberis

Dive into SwimRun with our fun 16km course!

Swim in the deep clear waters of Llyn Padarn and run beneath the majestic summit of Snowdon: Love SwimRun Llanberis will take place in Padarn Country Park, home to some of the most spectacular scenery in North Wales!

4 run sections and 4 swims make up our 16km Love SwimRun Llanberis course. Each leg offers spectacular views, varied terrain & a few historic relics! Running in your wetsuit and swimming in your trainers, you’ll take a seamless journey through the landscape and by the time you reach the finish line you will have swum the entire length of the lake!

Enter as a team of two or go it alone as a solo! Either way, with only 200 spaces you need to get your entry in fast!

The Big Welsh Swim

‘All aboard’ with our brand new swim challenge!

Catch the narrow gauge steam train to the end of Llyn Padarn to start your swim for a truly unique experience! From start to finish you’ll be wowed by the spectacular mountain ranges, beautiful woodlands and historic monuments.

You can choose to swim the length of the lake, either once (3km), twice (6km) or three times (9km) and we have a mid length and junior option too (1km). Wetsuit and non-wetsuit places are available so there’s a challenge to suit everyone! The swims are fully supported with safety boats and kayaks and feed stations to keep you going to the end.

Along with an event swim cap there are medals for all finishers and some great prizes up for grabs from Zone3!

Take on our rugged but beautiful 18km course!

Take on the rugged and beautiful coastline of Holy Island. Starting below Holyhead Mountain, our route takes in some of Angleseys’s most stunning scenery on mainly off road terrain, including Southstack Lighthouse and the RSPB reserve, beautiful cliff top runs with views of the mountains of Snowdonia, hidden beaches, rocky swims and a tough final climb up to the finish line.

6 run sections and 5 swims make up our 18km Love SwimRun Holy Island course. Each leg offers something new with a surprise around every corner! Keep an eye our for seals and porpoise!

We only have 100 spaces for this unique event! Enter as a team of two or go it alone as a solo, just grab one while you can!

Hello and welcome to Love SwimRun

Love SwimRun launched in 2016 with our inaugral event Love SwimRun Llanberis, the first swimrun event in Wales! SwimRun is Britain’s newest and fastest growing endurance sport and you can expect to see lots more events taking off in more UK locations. We’ll be repeating our Love SwimRun Llanberis event in 2017 with a new and improved course! We are also excited to announce a new SwimRun event Love SwimRun Holy Island – a spectacular linear course on the Anglesey coast! You’ll need to sign up fast for these fun SwimRuns as we only have limited spaces!

Also new for 2017 we are launching The Big Welsh Swim! Catch the narrow gauge steam train to the end of beautiful Llyn Padarn to start your swim for a truly unique experience! With the spectacular backdrop of the Snowdon mountain range, the historic Dolbadarn Castle and Welsh slate quarries you can choose to swim the length of the lake, either once, twice or three times! We have a mid length option too, plus spaces for juniors and a non-wetsuit option! Go on, dive in!
